Open Positions for the 2025 Season
We’re looking for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to fill the following roles. Further information about every position is available on our website
1. Starter/Ranger
As a Starter/Ranger, you’ll ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all players by managing tee times, monitoring pace of play, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all players.
2. Grounds Crew
As a member of our Grounds Crew, you’ll assist with landscaping and course maintenance. This position introduces employees to entry-level agronomy and provides on the job training for operating a variety of turf-management equipment.
3. Line Cook
As a Line Cook, you’ll prepare delicious meals for our members and guests, working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
4. Cart Attendant
The Cart Attendant position is the entry job for most young folks looking to work at Cedar Knoll. You’ll be expected to keep the carts clean, gassed, and ready for use by our members and guests. In addition to these responsibilities, you’ll be introduced to some grounds crew work as you learn the ropes!
5. Pro-Shop Attendant
As a Pro-Shop Attendant you’ll assist with merchandise sales, tee-time bookings, and managing events with our General Manager. You’ll also coordinate with our Starter/Rangers to ensure everything runs smoothly on the course.
6. Bartender/Beverage Cart Operator
As a Bartender or Beverage Cart Operator, you’ll serve food, drinks, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere. You must hold or be willing to procure a serving license from the State of Vermont to be eligible for this position!
What We’re Looking For
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent customer service skills
A passion for golf, hospitality, or outdoor work (depending on the role)
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
Team players who are eager to contribute to a welcoming environment
