About the Role
Our Head Chef/Kitchen Manager works collaboratively and independently to both design and execute catering and regular service menus. The Cedar Knoll kitchen is renowned for keeping both members and daily rate customers well-fed throughout and after a long day of golf.
You will be expected to directly oversee all large events hosted by CKCC and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly all hours of the day.
Responsibilities
Order required products from our purveyors.
Create and improve menu options for both regular service and large events.
Coordinate and schedule kitchen staff to ensure seamless service all hours of operation.
Provide foodservice training to new staff members.
Prepare ingredients for both large events and normal service.
Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes.
Ensure our kitchen remains clean and compliant with VT health code.

Bussing/clearing down tables.
Cleaning dining area.
Serving food to patrons.
Requirements
At least 18 years of age.
35-40 hours per week (minimum).
Must have a flexible schedule.
Our kitchen crew is small but mighty and the kitchen managers hours will vary depending on how they structure their staff!
Customer service attitude!
Able to work in high stress situations.
Strong cooking skills w/ ability to manage anything from large banquets to normal service.
Reliable, communicative, and strong leadership skills!
